It has been confirmed that Daniel Bruner will remain at Nakley for the next two seasons. Daniel Bruner is currently third in the championship, having taken a win at the South African Grand Prix.

Daniel Bruner has raced for Nakley since Season Five and will has signed a contract that will see him staying with the Australian team until the end of Season Nine. However Nakley are yet to sign Jewel Barclay, rumours suggesting the team are aiming for Mikko Heininen to replace the Canadian. It has been suggested the Mikko Heininen has been unhappy with Peugeot's reliabilty issues and strategy calls; having taken four poles this season but only one win.

"Daniel has driven very, very well this season. He has taken a win and looked set to win last weekends Spanish Grand Prix until he suffered from a gearbox failure. So we are very happy to extend his contract. As for Jewel we will wait until the middle of the season to give him a chance to improve", said Nakley Team Princ
